| "Last October I had a uniknee done on the little toe side of my right knee and i am pleased to say that it was quite successful. I am an active 60 year old and dreaded the thought of not being able to exercise or travel because of an achy knee. Now, 14 months after the surgery, I can walk four to five miles a day! I wish I could say that I popped out of bed the day after the surgery and began to train for the marathon, but I didnt. I am lucky to live in Omaha, NE so I could rehab at the same facility as the surgery. The rehab took time and energy but my knee is now much better than it had been for years. Dr Kelly and his staff were most helpful in answering questions all year long. I was treated with respect and courtesy and each part of the process was explained to me so that there were no suprises. I think the part I liked the best was all of the information - note book - , which made me an active part of this "new knee thing".
P.S. Plans are under way for another trip in the spring and that will mean walking 10 - 12 miles a day and I will be ready! " Ellen |

Hi my name is Sherry, A few years back I got in a fight with a cow. The cow banged my legs against a gate with her head. I later developed bone spurs and arthritis in my left knee. So I got on the internet and searched for knee replacement doctors close to my home. I found different types of procedures, and then came across Dr. Kelly doing some seminars. So two of my sisters and I went to a seminar at
Everything went well. I was impressed with the joint camp team. They helped me a lot. I was off work for six weeks. My knee was painful for the first two weeks after surgery, but that improved with physical therapy. After six weeks in therapy I am pain free and doing great. Every day is a little better. I am doing my exercises at home and I am back to work. Thank you Dr. Kelly and staff for all you did. Sherry , 49 |

| On December 15th , 2004, I had a Uni-Knee Surgery. Only four years earlier I had a full knee replacement on my right knee, so I wanted to try the uni-knee surgery. This was so much easier. It was 6 weeks of not being able to do alot for the full knee. The uni-knee only about 4 weeks that I could walk and do so much more that I could do before the surgery.
Before it was a lot of pain just to get up and walk. I went to Dr Kelly's seminar before the surgery and found out so much information. Along with the book and the 2 movies they furnish. And if there were any questions , the answers were always available. What a staff and Dr. Kelly! I was in some pain after the surgery but they kept me comfortable, and the Joint Camp was great. To be able to meet so many people in the same situation makes you feel like, they have the same problem, along with their coaches. I did use a walker for a few days at home and then went to a cane. Although I used crutches when I went out because of the snow and ice. I felt a little more secure. I was walking the dog after about 5 weeks and now you would not know I had the surgery. If I had another knee, I would do it again. And I have recommended this to quite a few people having to go through that awful knee pain before the surgery. Thank you again Dr. Kelly and your very capable staff ! Marlene |
